Regeneron ISEF
Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (Regeneron ISEF) is the world’s largest and one of the most prestigious international pre-college science competitions. Originally founded in 1950 and currently sponsored by Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, it is administered by the Society for Science. Each year, Regeneron ISEF brings together more than 1,800 high school students from over 70 countries, regions, and territories, who are selected as top winners from affiliated science fairs worldwide.
History and Significance
Regeneron ISEF is widely regarded as a global pinnacle of high school scientific research competitions. Participants present original, independent research projects across a broad range of STEM fields, including biology, chemistry, physics, engineering, environmental science, and computer science. Projects are evaluated by expert judges based on originality, scientific rigor, depth of research, and potential real-world impact.
